MOUT Hilversum
A bold, editorial site for Hilversum's flagship foodhall and in-house brewery. The design leans into a dark, moody palette — deep blacks and warm amber tones — to match the industrial-meets-cosy atmosphere of the venue. Numbered sections guide visitors through the story of the space, from the seven kitchen concepts to the on-site Gooische Bierbrouwerij. Large typographic headers and generous whitespace give it a magazine-style feel that positions MOUT as more than just a restaurant.
Platinum Tequila
A webshop proposal for a premium flavoured tequila brand — a custom headless Shopify storefront with a bespoke front end rather than an off-the-shelf theme. Retail and B2B pricing, flavour and bundle flows, and iDEAL-ready checkout sit on top of Shopify, with stronger order logging than a standard setup and automated shipping label creation for fulfilment. Built to feel like a luxury product line while staying practical for day-to-day orders.
MK Tattoo
A portfolio site for MK, a realism and whip-shading tattoo artist based in Hilversum. The design direction is deliberately stripped back — typography and layout stay quiet so his work stays loud. On wider screens (desktop and laptop), the background becomes a sliding gallery of nine looping videos of his tattoos; on phones, the same idea collapses into a focused single-photo gallery that stays fast and thumb-friendly. Resize the window or open the site on your phone versus a laptop to feel the shift — same brand, two tailored experiences.
Banketbakkerij Burgt
A full e-commerce platform for one of Hilversum's most established artisan bakeries, trading for over 40 years. The visual identity is warm and crafted — cream backgrounds, soft serif headings, and rich product photography that makes the pastries the hero. Built with a complete shopping cart, category-based catalogue of 160+ products, iDeal checkout integration, and a blog. The design deliberately avoids anything sterile or corporate, keeping the handmade character of the bakery at its core.
Emmanna Bakery
A personal, story-driven site for Anna Maria, a bespoke cake artist in Hilversum. The design is soft and intimate — pastel tones, flowing layouts, and a full-screen gallery that puts the hand-crafted cakes front and centre. The ordering flow was intentionally kept conversational rather than transactional, reflecting how Anna Maria works: through personal contact, inspiration photos, and a real dialogue with each customer. Custom lightbox gallery, step-by-step how-it-works section, and Google Reviews integration round it out.
Saravanaa Bhavan
A polished marketing site for Saravanaa Bhavan Nederland — the Amsterdam outpost of a renowned South Indian vegetarian restaurant chain. Long-form editorial sections walk through heritage, the dosa experience, street-food favourites, thali-style meals, and sweets & filter coffee, each with must-try callouts. The restaurant block surfaces address, phone, menu, and directions; a testimonials area showcases Google reviews. The layout and typography aim for a refined dining feel while staying fast and readable on mobile.

A calm, content-rich site for an Asian all-in dining restaurant in Hilversum. The layout explains the fixed-price buffet concept — wok, Japanese grill, sushi, included soft drinks — and walks guests through how it works, pricing by day, takeaway, delivery, and reservations. Sfeerimpressie and review sections build trust; the tone stays clear and welcoming for families and groups near the station.
Cursar Banh Mi
A Vietnamese takeout site for a Hilversum kitchen steps from the station. Street-food positioning — bánh mì, phở, noodles, summer rolls, and signature egg coffee — with separate paths for pickup ordering and Thuisbezorgd delivery. House favourites, Google reviews, and bilingual EN/NL navigation keep the menu scannable; hours and Leeuwenstraat location stay visible for commuters and locals.
Marie-Lou House of Beauty
A warm salon site for a Hilversum hair and beauty studio. Services cover cutting, colouring, highlights, brows, and barber work, with a gallery, team section, and Treatwell booking CTAs alongside phone contact. Treatwell and Google review scores are surfaced up front; step-by-step copy explains how to choose a treatment, book, and leave with aftercare tips — personal, professional, and family-friendly.
So Glow
A warm, editorial site for So Glow at Glow Studio in Hilversum — nails, brows, lash lift, make-up, and hair under one roof on the Hilvertsweg. Treatwell and Google ratings sit up front; service categories mirror the booking platform (Hair, Nails, Hair Removal, Face). Team profiles for Marta and Patrycja, a curated reviews section, tips & verhalen for longer reads, opening hours, and clear CTAs for Treatwell, WhatsApp, and contact — calm salon tone with room for nail art and bridal detail without feeling rushed.
Stichting Runners United
A Dutch trail-running community site for Stichting Runners United — not a standard athletics club, but a place to find each other off the beaten path. The home page walks through Over, the bi-weekly Loopleip podcast (Joost, Shiva, and Robert), upcoming trail events such as the Vresse-sur-Semois weekend, field stories on the blog, creator profiles, and a contact form. Energetic, outdoors-first tone with clear paths to listen, join events, and support the foundation.
Jasper Brill Design
An upscale optician site for jasper brill design in central Hilversum — exclusive frames, sunglasses, contact lenses, and precision lenses with a personal, unhurried tone. The layout treats eyewear as style as much as vision: dedicated paths for monturen, zonnebrillen, contactlenzen, and brillenglazen (including Essilor), plus visual training, curated Google reviews, and appointment CTAs. Schoutenstraat location, opening hours, and phone contact keep the experience grounded in the shop rather than a generic catalogue.
Delta Mobile
A Hilversum phone repair and accessories shop site — repairs by Malik (screens, batteries, water damage, software) and a full retail side for cases, screen protectors, cables, and advice. Clear split between Reparatie and Winkel, honest pricing and same-day turnaround called out up front, a Malik profile section, Google reviews at 4.9, and WhatsApp plus Kerstraat location for walk-ins across het Gooi.
Versplintert Tattoo
A Hilversum tattoo studio site with a calm, craft-first tone — tattoos met karakter, from first sketch to aftercare. Gallery of recent work, why-us pillars (hygiene, maatwerk, begeleiding, vakmanschap), a four-step journey from intake to nazorg, services including custom, consult, and cover-ups, Google reviews at 4.9, FAQ, and appointment CTAs via phone and Instagram. Appointment-only positioning keeps the experience personal rather than walk-in retail.
Khrisna Sunrise Properties Tulamben
A boutique hospitality site for a Tulamben homestay and bungalow between Mt. Agung and Bali's northeast dive coast. Choose-your-stay paths (homestay vs bungalow), room cards with IDR and USD rates, volcano sunrise and pool imagery, dive concierge and day-trip experiences, location distances to beach and temples, guest impressions at 9.4/10, and WhatsApp-first booking with a direct discount incentive — slow-travel tone rather than a generic booking engine.
Hairstylist VR
A high-touch Hilversum salon site for Vito Ricciardi on the Langestraat — appointment-only, quiet-studio positioning rather than walk-in volume. Editorial sections for cutting, colour, care, men's (including classic shave), and occasion styling; indicative price lists, curated Google-style reviews, opening hours, and phone-first booking. Premium, unhurried tone with gallery imagery and a prototype-ready structure for swapping placeholder visuals.
Phoenix Health & Wellness
A calming, minimal site for a massage therapy studio in Hilversum, built in three languages — Dutch, English, and Chinese — to serve the therapist's diverse clientele. The colour palette draws from nature: deep forest greens and warm off-whites that evoke stillness and recovery. Typography is kept clean and unhurried, with generous breathing room between sections. Rather than a booking widget, the CTA is a direct phone call — a deliberate choice to keep the experience personal and human, mirroring the therapist's own approach.
Het Olijven Huis
A warm Mediterranean product showcase for a small, family-run deli that has been hand-crafting tapenades and marinating olives since 2008. Earthy olive greens, terracotta accents, and natural textures run throughout the design to evoke the feeling of a Moroccan market stall. The full product catalogue — 80+ tapenades, olives, and olive oils — is laid out simply and clearly, letting the produce speak for itself. The copy was written in the same direct, friendly voice as the owner Aziz himself.
Amma Tattoo
A rich, bilingual (EN / NL) site for Rangiesh, a self-taught spiritual tattoo artist from Kerala, India, based in Hilversum. The design mirrors the artist's philosophy — dark backgrounds, gold and rust accent tones, and hand-feel typography that conveys craftsmanship over commerce. The site goes well beyond a typical portfolio: it includes a blog, FAQ, webshop, and free consultation booking. The hero section opens with a looping video of the studio and leads into Rangiesh's personal story, building trust long before a visitor makes contact.
Wins Wereldwinkel
A colourful, purpose-driven webshop for a fair-trade world shop in Hilversum. The design embraces a global, vibrant aesthetic — rich colours and eclectic product imagery reflecting the diverse origins of the goods on offer. Built as a fully functional e-commerce experience with product categories, a shopping cart, and checkout flow, the site balances the warmth of an independent shop with the usability expected of a modern webshop.
